High Throston Golf Club continues to support Alice House Hospice
High Throston Golf Club held a charity day for local charity Alice House Hospice and raised £300 for patient care services.
The Club, who are regular supporters of the Hospice held a charity competition in September 2016 where members and friends made a donation to take part in support of the day’s chosen charity.
Mr & Mrs Sturrock, the Club owners, and their staff also donated to top up the total.
The Club’s chairman, David Oakley, said that the charity was chosen because it is a “local organisation and serves local people and families.”
Greg Hildreth, Hospice Fundraiser said, “Our patients receive such great support from the members of High Throston Golf Club and it is fantastic to keep being invited back. Thanks to all the members and their friends who took part; you have all helped to ensure Hospice care remains available for people from the local communities of Hartlepool and East Durham.”
