Corporate support is important to the Hospice
The corporate sector plays a large part in sustaining the care provided by Alice House Hospice, and there has recently been a number of high profile events and sponsorships generating vital funding. September 2017 was one of the busiest months on record for the charity.
Hospice Patrons Wynyard Park held a Charity Race Day at Sedgefield Racecourse, in memory of much missed businessman Joe Musgrave, which raised a fantastic £50,000. The event was attended by many prominent local businesses including fellow patrons J & B Recycling and NES Security.
The annual Charity Golf Tournament held at the Wynyard Club and arranged by Rob Hoskins of RK Consultancy proved to be the most successful to date, raising £27,000. This event was sponsored by Drive Vauxhall and Fine & Country Estate Agents who have supported the event for a number of years.
There were also sponsorships from Corporate Partners Seymour Civil Engineering and Bristol Street Motors Hartlepool, who supported It’s a Knockout and the Great North Run respectively. Seymour are regular sponsors and collaborators, whilst Bristol Street have sponsored three different Hospice events this year including the upcoming Santa Fun Run.
Alice House are soon to launch a new brochure featuring information on corporate support, sponsored by Blast Digital and supported by Wynyard Park. This new publications outlines the many different ways in which businesses can become involved with Alice House.
