Triathlon support from Blind veteran
Blind veteran David Cranson took part in his third Big Lime Triathlon on 1 October to raise funds for Alice House Hospice.
This is the second consecutive year that David, who is registered blind having lost 90% of his sight through a hereditary condition, has raised sponsorship for the Hospice and he generated a fantastic £243. With the help of his chaperone, Darrel Slater, David completed the event (a 750m open water swim, 20km cycle ride and 5km run) in a personal best time of 02:05:05.
I can’t thank everyone enough for their kind sponsorship and I am really proud to be able to support such a brilliant local charity.”
