West Park School Choir singing at Santa Fun Run

This year West Park Primary School Choir will be performing Christmas songs and Higham discos will be providing entertainment and festive tunes to get everyone warmed up before the annual Santa Fun Run.

There is still time to register for Alice Houses Hospice’s 10th Anniversary Santa Fun Run on Sunday 3 December.  The cost of registering for the run is £8 for adults, who will receive a Santa Suit, £5 for children under 16 who will get a Santa Hat or Rudolf Antlers and a Flashing Nose and also a medal.

The run starts at 11am and is a half-mile fun run/walk around Ward Jackson Park, starting and finishing at The Place in the Park, in festive fancy dress.

Janice Forbes, Community Fundraiser at the Hospice said “It’s going to be a lovely feature having the pupils from West Park Primary School singing before the run. The school has always been very supportive of the Hospice.”

Janice added “As this is our 10th Santa Fun Run we are hoping it is going to be the biggest and best ever.”

Miss Palmer a teacher at the school said, “The children are very excited to be performing at the Santa Fun Run. This is always a lovely event and the School are proud and happy to be supporting Alice House Hospice which is such a vital local cause”

She added “This is a lovely event for all the family to take part in and a great way to start the festive season.”
