Hospice helping with treasured memories
Alice House Hospice can help preserve your favourite memories with a Treasured Memories online page.
The pages are a perfect way to remember and be with your memories, especially as they can be accessed 24 hours a day. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes your treasure.
“These online pages are a bit like virtual memory boxes, and as more and people have only digital images they are a perfect place to share with family and friends the pictures and stories that you want to remember most”.
Rebecca Jobson, Fundraising Senior Manager
If you have experienced the death of a loved one, then a Treasured Memories page can be a lovely place to keep, and share, your most treasured memories of them.
Accessible 24 hours a day, you can add videos, photo’s, life stories and music make to your page truly personal to the ones you love.
Nicola Winwood, In Memory Fundraiser said, “I set up a Treasured Memories page for my Granda George so that we have another way to remember him. We designed it as the “Forget Me Not” theme as these flowers are symbolic to my Granda and we gave out Forget Me Not seeds at his funeral. We added photos to his page, we can also write thoughts and stories. On special occasions we can light a candle to show that he is in our thoughts. Although my Granda was not in the Hospice we have still raised some money in his memory at the Forget Me Not Appeal which is added onto the fundraising part of his page.”
