Local stitchers display their work
Foggy Furze Quilters and Embroiderers are hosting a Patchwork and Embroidery Exhibition from 10am to 5pm on Friday 4th May and Saturday 5th May at the Marine Hotel, Seaton Carew.
The group who meet at Seaton Carew Social Club every Monday have been busy over the last two years producing group quilts, projects and other items for the exhibition.

During the two days there will be a tombola and raffle in aid of Alice House Hospice. The first prize in the raffle is a beautiful cream quilt with multi-coloured hexagons made by the group.

Janice Forbes, community fundraiser at the Hospice said, “I would like to thank the Foggy Furze Quilters and Embroiderers for once again choosing to raise funds for our patients. I am looking forward to attending the exhibition and would certainly recommend people to go along and see the fabulous items on display”
