Horden Charity Shop set to return
Alice House Hospice are set to reopen their Horden based Charity Shop which was ravaged by fire last year.
All the Volunteers and Shop Managers are working really hard to try and get the store open and ready to welcome its first customers on 25th June. Shop Manager Tammy Jones will be supporting Volunteers in both the Blackhall and Horden shops and can’t wait to be “open for business” again.
The shop needs all sorts of stock if it is to be ready in time, everything from bedding, clothes, books, bric a brac and furniture. All items would be greatly appreciated, so if you are having a clear out then don’t forget to drop your donated goods in to your nearest shop who can pass it along for Horden.
If you have some time to spare then a helping hand is always welcome. Everything from stocking the shop floor, serving customers, sorting stock and cashier are all needed to keep the store open Monday to Saturday from 9am – 4pm.
