Families and people of all ages are encouraged to take part in the event, which comprises a run or walk around the half-mile route (approximate mileage). Adults will receive a full Santa Suit with under 16s getting a choice of Rudolph antlers or Santa hat.
The run is also supported by Maria Harrison, owner of The Place in the Park which hosts the pre and post event activities including stalls and refreshments; Maria will be providing a free mince pie to all runners. There will be music on the day courtesy of popular children’s entertainer Gavin from Higham Discos.
Janice Forbes, a Fundraiser at the Hospice who organises the run said “We would like to say a big thank you to our sponsors at Publicity Seekers and O’Connor Roofing Services who have shown such great enthusiasm for this event – we are delighted to have them involved and their backing has helped to give our fundraising a great boost.”
