Keeping warm this winter
Staff at Alice House Hospice are being kept warm when out and about this winter thanks to a donation of woolly hats from a local supplier.
The lovely purple woolly hats were donated by Workwear Express who had visited the Hospice earlier in the month and were astounded by the services they deliver. A representative from Workwear Express said they are really looking forward to working more closely with the Hospice in the future.
The hats were a token gesture to show how much all staff representing Alice House within their roles outside of the Alice House buildings are appreciated, especially over the cold winter months.
The hats will be distributed to all clinical staff that work within the community setting, volunteer gardeners and van drivers and there will be some available for patients too.
The message to staff from Jen Aylesbury, Business Development Manager is, “Thank you for all that you do out there and stay warm this winter!”
Jen added, “I would also like to thank everyone at Workwear Express for such a kind thought and we look forward to working with them again in the future. The support of local businesses is vital to the Hospice and there are so many ways which they can help.”
