Lovely fundraising evening in memory of Helen
A Charity night in memory of Helen Gibson has raised a fantastic £665 for Alice House Hospice.
The event, held at The Rovers Quoit Club and organised by Helen’s partner Joanne Kier and Joanne’s mother Margaret Kier, was a great success.
Helen who was only 43 had planned to marry Joanne and had named a date in September last year, but they were unable to after she was admitted to Hospital following a diagnosis of cancer.
Entertainment on the night was provided by The Elwick Academy of Dance with both solo and group performances including songs from Mama Mia and Motown.
Joanne and Margaret would like to thank everyone who donated prizes, all who attended and Helen’s Family. They would like to personally thank Barry & Joanne Fishburn, Lynne Gaffney and Jeff Lucas and Leanne Jefferies.
