Grace McCann said, “When the Easter Raffle Hamper was brought to reception for us to sell raffle tickets for in the weeks before Easter, Liz and I could see it had been beautifully made up and included some gorgeous chocolate eggs and even better, a bottle of Prosecco!

Grace and Liz were touched when they were told that the hamper had been made up by a patient from Day Hospice and she had made sure her family brought it in to raise money for the Hospice.

Grace said, “We had heard the family wanted to raise £1000 for the Hospice, which was great so we took it upon ourselves to sell as many raffle tickets as possible to help them reach their target. The total Liz and I raised was £204 and we did this by asking literally everyone who walked through the door, no one was safe!  Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, the people of Hartlepool really are very generous.”
