Long-time supporter of Alice House, Sylvia Anderson, has been busy creating beautiful homemade crafts, including a batch of great ‘handy bags’ which she will be selling to raise funds for the Hospice on the day. 

Sylvia said, “I have had a very long connection with the Hospice; my first husband was cared for by the hospice when it was in Hutton Avenue, I attend the Hospice Friends Group 4 times a year and I also try to help the fundraising team by donating raffle prizes to help them with their many events. 

I love crafting even though life is busy, I am full time carer for my husband Reg, I find crafting helps give a bit of ‘me time’.

I often use the time that Reg attends Day Care at Alice House to put my skills to the test.  I have just made a batch of gorgeous ‘handy bags’ which I will be selling at my very own stall at the Hospice’s Summer Fayre on 25^th May.”
