Extra Help from Businesses for Alice House
Alice House Hospice are launching a new fundraising initiative which is aimed at businesses wanting to show their support for the local charity.
The Extra Help Scheme encourages companies to invite customers to pay an extra £1 on top of their bill as a donation to Alice House.
This can be added to the bill or put in a collection box, these extra contributions are then paid to the Hospice and used to fund patient services.
Participating organisations will be given resources including promotional displays and collection boxes so that their customers can see that they are taking part.
Greg Hildreth, a fundraiser at Alice House said “We already receive fantastic support from the local business community and the Extra Help Scheme gives the opportunity for organisations to support in a new way at no extra cost to themselves. Hopefully, their customers and clients will be happy to add an extra £1 on their payment and show their support for Hospice care.”
This is a new project so we are looking forward to speaking to lots of companies wanting to get involved. As ever, all of the money raised will be used to support patients and families who are affected by incurable illnesses.
