Chilli Cake provides a little “Extra Help”
Popular Hartlepool restaurant in Church Square, Chilli Cake is the latest business to sign up for Alice House Hospice’s “Extra Help” initiative, which sees companies invite customers or clients to add an extra £1 to their bill as a donation to their local Hospice.
Chilli Cake owner and manager Julie Evans recently visited Alice House and was more than happy to pledge her support to the appeal, saying “Our customers are lovely and very generous, so I’m sure that they will be pleased to support such a fantastic local charity. We are really happy to be joining the Extra Help initiative and would encourage other businesses to get involved too.”
Alice House Corporate Fundraiser Greg Hildreth added “We are really pleased to see local people and businesses signing up to take part in this fundraising initiative; all of the donations will be used to help provide care for Hospice patients and support for their families. Thanks to Julie and her team, as well as everyone else who has supported so far.
