Brilliant business support helps Hospice 2020 Calendar
The 2020 Alice House Hospice calendar is now on sale featuring 12 scenes from Hartlepool and the surrounding areas taken by talented local photographer Ashley Foster.
This is the second time Ashley has kindly donated his pictures following sales of the 2019 edition raising in the region of £10,000 for Alice House Hospice which cares for patients and families affected by incurable illnesses.
Ashley works as a Team Leader for Engie and is based at EDF Energy’s Hartlepool power station. As well as donating his photographs Ashley also volunteers, providing photo coverage of a variety of hospice events throughout the year.
Engie support Ashley by giving him time out of work to volunteer and is supported by Hospice Patrons EDF Energy who are keen for their employees and contractors to engage with their community partners. EDF Energy will also be selling calendars to employees and site visitors.
Ashley is really happy that his hobby helps to raise so much money for local patients and said “My dream was that one day my pictures could raise money for amazing causes and it’s finally happened; I’m so happy.”
Greg Hildreth, Corporate Fundraiser at Alice House added, “Ashley has made a huge difference during the time he has worked with us – his event photos are fantastic and help to represent our work in the best possible way. The contributions he has generously submitted for our calendars help to ensure their success and I’m sure the new ones will be as popular as last year’s.”
Each page of the calendar has a recipe on the back and one of Ashley’s detachable postcard photographs.
