Publicity Seekers supporting Santa Fun Run
Staff from local PR firm Publicity Seekers, are taking part in this year’s Santa Fun Run in aid of Alice House Hospice.
The company, who are co-sponsoring the charity event are preparing to run the ½ mile route around Ward Jackson Park on 1 December to help raise funds for local patient care.
The event is a fancy dress, festive themed fun run for people of all ages. Adult participants receive a full Santa suit, whilst children get a Santa hat and medal; all runners receive a complimentary mince pie from The Place in the Park, which is the start and end point of the run and will also have festive stalls on the day.
Samantha Lee, Managing Director of Publicity Seekers, said: “We had a lot of fun sponsoring and taking part in the event last year and we are looking forward to it once again. It was a great event, lots of families taking part with all generations and even plenty of dogs. We will all be taking part once again and we hope people turn out in force to support this. It’s not Christmas until you’ve seen a few hundred people running around Ward Jackson Park dressed as Santa. The disco warm-up was great too. See you all there!”
This year’s Santa Fun Run is also sponsored by Property Webmasters, Fire 97 and Readhead Associates.
