Grieving During Lockdown

Coping with the grief and death of a loved one, especially during this period of continued lockdown, is very difficult. We have had to make some temporary changes to our usual Counselling & Support services but hope that the following links may help those who are needing support at this time

  • UK SobS – A national charity providing dedicated support to adults who have been bereaved by suicide.
  • Child Bereavement UK – Helps children, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They support children and young people up to the age of 25 who are facing bereavement, and anyone affected by the death of a child of any age.
  • Winston’s Wish – They support children and young people after the death of a parent or sibling.

For school professionals supporting bereaved children please visit: winstonswish.org/supporting-you/support-for-schools/. Here you can find free online bereavement training, training videos on childhood bereavement and much more.

Although we are currently not accepting new referrals we are still available to support you if you have any queries or concerns.

Please get in touch by ringing us on 01429 855543, you can also leave a message and a member of our team will get back to you.
