Happy Easter from the Nursery Inn
Patients, staff and volunteers at Alice House Hospice were treated to gifts of Easter Eggs and chocolates from the kind staff and customers of Hartlepool pub, The Nursery Inn on Hopps Street.
Despite being unable to open its doors since last year, Nursery regulars kindly rallied round to buy and donate the eggs as a thank you for the work done by the local charity, as well as giving them out to other local causes.
Ian and Debbie who run the Nursery were thanked by Greg Hildreth when they delivered the presents, which included 300 Easter Eggs for volunteers and staff.
Greg Hildreth, Communications Senior Manager at Alice House said “What a lovely and kind gesture from Ian, Debbie and their staff and customers. These were a real treat for everyone at the Hospice and very much appreciated. We would like to thank everyone at the Nursery and wish them all the very best for their planned re-opening in April.”
