Darab was still preparing for the opening of Twisted Ginger, but decided to open early for a private booking so that the meal could still go ahead. The party spent £175 on the night, which Darab kindly matched and donated to Alice House.

Julie Hildreth, Fundraising Senior Manager at Alice House met with Darab to accept the money and said “This is very generous and the money will be used to fund care and support to our patients and their families. It has been a really difficult time for charities so this kind of support is more valuable than ever. I hope that the family enjoyed their meal and would like to wish Darab and his staff the best of luck in their new venture.”
