Foundation Grant for Patient Transfer Scale
A generous grant from the Hodge Foundation
A massive thank you to the Hodge Foundation who have awarded Alice House Hospice a generous grant of £2,600 which has enabled us to purchase a much-needed Patient Transfer Scale.
This will be used to weigh patients comfortably and easily as they are transferred from trolley to bed.
“The Marsden Transfer Scale will allow us to accurately weigh all patients to make sure we have the correct medication prescribed, monitor patients’ nutrition and allow us to look after our patients as a whole.
The scale is a wonderful addition to Alice House Hospice and will help us continue to give the best care to our patients.
