Alice House Party a fundraising success
A fundraising event raised around £11,000 for Alice House Hospice and organisers are planning a follow up event for next year.
The Alice House Party was a sold-out charity dinner at Wynyard Hall in October with around 200 guests in attendance.
On arrival, guests enjoyed reception drinks with live music from Lady V Sax, followed by a street dance display from award winning dance crew KLique. The evening also included close-up magic from Paul Lytton, a three-course dinner, raffle, auction and other fundraising games.
The event had a house music theme and guest DJ Rob Oxley from the DJ collective LLIP entertained a packed dancefloor throughout the night.
The Alice House Party was jointly organised by Hartlepool businesses Orangebox Training Solutions, Property Webmasters, Rephrase and Hospice Patrons, Hartlepool College of Further Education. The event was also supported by the PFC Trust who donated prizes and sponsorship.
Amongst the companies taking tables at the dinner were Hospice Patrons EDF Energy and Hart Biologicals.
Julie Hildreth, Fundraising Senior Manager said “The Alice House Party was a real success and a gathering of Hospice supporters who raised lots of money for local patients and hopefully had a great night whilst doing so. We have already started planning the next event and are hoping for another sell-out.”
The Hospice’s next charity dinner is due to take place at Wynyard Hall on 24 March 2023 with further details to follow.
