Sponsoring Leaves for Loved Ones
Meynell & Mason Funeral Directors in Hartlepool have come forward to sponsor the Leaves for Loved Ones Tree at Alice House.
The Leaves for Loved Ones tree can be found inside the Room of Reflection, a place where visitors can go for moments of quietness and can also view our Books of Remembrance there.
The tree is made up of copper leaves and fills one wall of the room. The leaves can be engraved with the name of a family member or loved one. It costs £150 to dedicate a leaf, which will stay on the tree for ten years, after which it can be either renewed or taken home to keep.
Meynell & Mason have supported Alice House for a number of years and recently also sponsored the charity’s Memory Stroll event. Funeral Directors Terry McCormack and Helen Tilder visited the Hospice to view the tree and to see how their partnership was making a difference.

Anyone is welcome to make a dedication and it is not exclusive to people whose family members have used the Hospice.
