Colour Run Set For July Return
Hartlepool’s brightest event is back for 2024 and registration is now open with a special offer for early sign-ups.
The Alice House Hospice Colour Run takes place on the sea front at Seaton Carew on Saturday 13 July, during which runners and walkers of all ages will be pelted with multicoloured powdered paint from four different points along the approximately 5k circular route.
The route starts at Seaview Car Park, all the way along the promenade, past Seaton Reach towards Newburn Bridge, and back.
Runners will be raising sponsorship for the specialist care services provided to local patients and families by the Hospice; each of the four paint stations will also be sponsored by a local organisation, with full details of sponsors to be confirmed.
Prior to the run, from 10am there will be colourful merchandise for sale, along with music, entertainment, and a warm up to prepare everyone before they head to the start line at 11am.
Registration is currently available at the discounted prices of £5 for children, £10 for adults and £25 for a family consisting of two adults and two children. This offer expires on 27 April when prices will increase (£15 Adult, £10 Children and £40 Family).
Registration includes a white t-shirt, a packet of bright powder paint & bottle of water.
Gil Parker, a fundraiser at the Hospice said “this is one of our most fun well attended events and we are expecting over 300 people to join us on the day for a great time raising much needed funds for local Hospice care; we are looking forward to welcoming regular Colour Runners and new supporters to Seaton this summer.”
