A Beautiful New Summer House for Alice House Hospice

Alice House Hospice is delighted to announce the official opening of a brand-new furnished Summer House, generously funded by The Teesside Family Foundation and their charity partners, Queensway Dental Clinic.

Positioned in the Hospice’s tranquil patient gardens, the Summer House provides a peaceful, welcoming retreat for patients and their families – a place to relax, reflect, and enjoy the calming presence of nature during what can be an incredibly difficult time.

This latest contribution complements the garden furniture previously funded by The Teesside Family Foundation.

Greg Hildreth, Business & Communications Senior Manager at Alice House Hospice, said:

“In addition to the fantastic garden furniture that was previously funded by Teesside Family Foundation, this new Summer House continues to uplift our patient gardens, offering a comfortable outdoor space for people to enjoy the tranquil surroundings just outside of our Inpatient Unit. It’s a great quality addition, the benefit of which will be felt by Hospice patients and their loved ones for many years to come.

“Support like this is of huge value to Alice House and contributes significantly to the wellbeing of those accessing our care services.”

Richard Poole, Chair of Trustees at The Teesside Family Foundation said:

“We are incredibly proud to support the amazing work of Alice House Hospice – the compassion and care shown during such difficult times truly touches our hearts.”
