Everyone at Alice House has been overwhelmed by the response from our local community over the festive period
A much needed boost after most of our fundraising activities were cancelled last year due to Covid-19!
On 24th October 2019, the #TeamSally 12-in-12 Challenge Series was started, with the goal of raising funds for Alice House Hospice.
The total raised during the year was £15,038, bringing the total raised since September 2014 to over £45,000

Last year two of Harper’s family members – Norman Lacy and Nora Robinson were both cared for in the hospice and Harper wanted to do this to say thank you.
A unique online gathering that lasted the summer lockdown has drawn to a close, but not before uniting people from all over the world and raising an incredible £8,500 for the patient care services provided by Alice House Hospice in Hartlepool.

Join our socially distanced Memory Stroll
Alice House Hospice partners Co-operative Funeralcare are sponsoring the charity’s Memory Stroll fundraising event for the second consecutive year. The event takes place on 20 September, after being on hold since April due to lockdown measures.
Alice House Hospice are launching their annual summer remembrance appeal ‘Forget Me Not’ to raise much needed funds for patients and families affected by incurable illnesses.
The annual campaign invites people to make a donation in memory of a loved one to the local charity.
Our long standing Dogs Day OUt is unable to proceed because of the Coronavirus Crisis has now relaunched as an online event.
The annual Dogs’ Big Day Out, which has been held at Summerhill for over ten years in aid of Alice House is now proceeding as a special ‘Lockdown Edition’ with the intention of still giving dogs and their owners a fun experience whilst raising funds for patient care.
Alice House Hospice has collaborated with a number of high-profile, local organisations to host the first-ever Alice House Hospice Celebration Dinner, held at the luxurious Wynyard Hall and raising an incredible £11,500 for patient care services.
The event was sponsored by Hospice Patrons Utility Alliance and co-hosted by Property Webmasters and Orangebox Training Solutions, who helped to organise the night. It was compered by Simon Corbett, CEO at Orangebox and was also attended by Santander staff who organised the raffle and auction.
Alice House Hospice partners Co-op Funeralcare are sponsoring the charity’s Memory Stroll for the second consecutive year; the event takes place on 19th April.
The event, now in its second year, has been supported by the Co-op since it began in 2019. It is a peaceful Sunday morning walk along the seafront at Hartlepool’s picturesque and historic Headland, in which participants walk and raise sponsorship in memory of a loved one who has died.
Alice House Hospice are collaborating with a number of local supporters to host their first ever Cycle A Marathon event on the beautiful Hart to Haswell Walkway.
The 26.2 mile sponsored bike ride is open to over 16s and takes place on Sunday 1 March, when riders will meet at Barnard Grove Primary School and then make their way to the Hart to Haswell bike track via Ocean Road.
