A generous grant from the Hodge Foundation
A massive thank you to the Hodge Foundation who have awarded Alice House Hospice a generous grant of £2,600 which has enabled us to purchase a much-needed Patient Transfer Scale.
A local Philanthropic Society has continued their support of Alice House Hospice with a £2,000 donation.
Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation is a registered charity set up by Teessiders for Teessiders.
After predicting a substantial shortfall in fundraising revenue due to the Covid-19 crisis Alice House Hospice been awarded support by Persimmon Homes Durham and its Community Champions fund.
The Hospice was awarded the money by the regional team and the donation will go towards maintaining services as it suffers the effects of the Covid pandemic.

Alice House recently received a £500 grant from Tesco Bags of Help through Groundwork as part of their Help Covid-19 Communities Fund.
Staff at Alice House Hospice have waved a fond farewell to their family of hens which have been living at the Wellbeing Centre since 2017.
Rebecca Jobson, Senior Manager Communications said, “It’s time to say goodbye to our lovely hens who joined us here in 2017 as part of our Patient Enrichment Programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
