Charity Fire Walk

WHEN: 16 February 2024 5.45pm

Would you walk over hot coals for Alice House Hospice?

About the event

Fearless fundraisers are encouraged to do just that at our Charity Fire Walk, sponsored by J&B Recycling, on Friday 16th February 2024 at Hartlepool Rugby Club.

Take on the ultimate challenge of walking between 15-20ft over hot coals at 550 degrees celsius! It may sound tough but it’s perfectly safe. Some people say they feel the heat through their soles, other say it’s freezing cold.

Entry is £25 and participants are encouraged to raise minimum £125 in sponsorship.

What happens on the day:

As a Fire Walker you will receive full training an hour before the Fire Walk.  During this time you will be motivated and build confidence to complete the challenge.  The Fire Walk and the training seminar is organised and conducted by UK Fire Walk, one of the UK’s leading Fire Walk companies. So don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands.

Schedule

UK FIREWALK – Fire walking at its best!

Q: Why should I walk on fire?

A: We will never give you justification of why you should walk on fire, the choice is always your own. However, walking on fire gives people different results from overcoming their fears, self fulfilment, spiritual awakening or just a wonderful experience.

Q: Can I burn walking on fire?

A: There are various degrees of burns, from minor small blisters to third degree burns. The common denominator of those who do burn is that they all believed they would. We are pleased to say at UK Fire Walk we have never had anyone who required medical attention after our public, corporate or charity fire walks. However, there is always a risk with fire walking. If there are no risks, where would be the challenge and accomplishment of walking on fire be?

Q: What is the hardest part?

A: The hardest thing to overcome is the fear of taking the first step!

Q: What are the added benefits?

A: Fire walking is richly rewarding in terms of your personal self development and the activation of your potential. Realise and focus your talents, make decisions, set goals, awaken and exercise inner strength to expand your conscious awareness beyond everyday experiences. You will discover meaning, prioritise the important things and understand the purpose of your life.
