Sales Assistant

Are you a sociable person, would you be happy to meet and greet our customers making sure they all get a warm welcome?  With your personality you can help delight and intrigue our customers with all the wonderful products in our shops.  With you around our till will keep ringing!!

Stock Controller

Do you know your Versace from your Gucci?  Why not join our friendly team and help us to sort and identify donated stock in our shop. Your ability to spot this season’s must-have amid the ocean of fashion is invaluable.  Let’s put your knowledge of fashion to good use by preparing items for sale so they hit the shop floor in style.

Visual Merchandiser

If you think colour, balance and form, come and create beautiful displays from the varied items in our shops.  Putting your eye for detail to use by window dressing you will produce an inviting atmosphere to entice customers into the shop and help display items at their best. This will be your chance to show off your artistic talent, to build up your portfolio, or simply to get a taster of a career in retail and design.

Book Buff

Are you an avid reader that knows their Austin from Atwood?  Dahl from Dickens?  We are looking for enthusiastic book lovers to help maximise sales by sorting, pricing and displaying books for the best possible prices. You will research the best prices, and first editions, and display them in an accessible and attractive way.

Using your customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure, you will provide a service with a smile. Behind the till, you will keep focused and friendly and process payments, pack goods, and sell opportunities to upsell, making sure customers leave wanting to come back.

If you take pride in your efforts and like to see instant results, maybe you would enjoy helping us to keep our shop floor and back up areas clean and tidy. Training will be provided and this flexible role can fit around your other activities.

Do you have a clean driving licence and customer service at heart?  As part of the team of drivers you will combine your good driving with your polite and friendly disposition to collect furniture, bric a brac and bags of clothing, providing an effective and courteous collection service to our donors. Heavy lifting will be involved within this role for which training will be provided.

Driver's Assistant

Are you physically fit, friendly and able to find your way around?   Teaming up with our drivers you will use your knowledge of the local area and customer service skills to help collect and deliver furniture and other items, providing an efficient and courteous collection service to our donors. Some lifting will be involved for which training will be provided.

Furniture Specialist

If you can tell your mahogany from your MDF, you will be able to support our sales of donated furniture. You will help to research, price, clean and prepare items for sale. Specialist knowledge, DIY skills and experience in furniture repair would be of particular benefit.

Gift Aid Champion

Can you influence without seeming to interfere? If you are outgoing and confident approaching donors and customers, you could help promote the Retail Gift Aid Scheme which can increase sales by 25%. In this role you will greet donors dropping off donations, explain the benefits of the scheme and process details and sales on the computer system.

Music Lover or Movie Buff

Do you know your Take That from Tchaikovsky?  We need enthusiastic music lovers and movie buffs to sort, grade and price vinyl, CD’s and DVD’s by genre for the best possible prices.

Vintage and Retro Enthusiast

Do you know your wedges from pumps, a wiggle dress from a pinafore?  Using your love of vintage, collectables and retro fashion you will help pick out donated items that could earn a premium. You will research the best price and create displays to show them off and attract a buyer
