Alice House Hospice are seeking a new cook to join our existing catering team.
The successful candidates will support the development and delivery of the provision of patient meals but also have the imagination and creativity to develop exciting products for service to our Bistro customers.
You will need to be able to identify popular food trends and present interesting options for hot and cold food products that increase our revenue intake. The role will also require you to work under pressure and produce cakes and pastries fresh from raw ingredients.
All profits from our Bistro are fed back into the Hospice so it is important to create appetising and satisfying meals.
You will be part of a committed and motivated team and shifts will cover over 7 days including weekends, through a Rota system, additional hours may be available occasionally.
