Maintenance Volunteer

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Maintenance Volunteer to join our team.

Purpose of the Role:

To assist in the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, basic carpentry, plumbing).
  • Assist with general upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and tidying communal areas.
  • Support the team with seasonal maintenance tasks (e.g., gardening, snow removal).
  • Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any issues.
  • Work in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Basic DIY or maintenance skills (training may be provided).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Time Commitment:

Flexible – based on availability and organizational needs (e.g., a few hours per week).
