Visiting Information
Visiting Times, Stayovers & Car Parking
Patients enjoy and often need the support of family and friends during their stay and the Hospice operates an open visiting policy which does not restrict visiting times and welcomes children and pets.
This means that friends or relatives can visit anytime they like, even staying overnight if they wish. We can provide somewhere comfortable for you to rest in pleasant, quiet surroundings to allow you to spend quality time with your relative or friend.
Car parking is free for patients and their visitors and for easy access is close to the main entrance of the Hospice.
You will be given a parking permit when you arrive and you will be asked to sign in for fire purposes, after which reception staff will direct you to where you need to be. After your visit you will be asked to sign out as you leave the building.
When the main Hospice reception is not staffed you can ring the intercom buzzer on the pillar outside the main entrance to gain access; this is answered by volunteers or nursing staff on duty so please be patient.
Please visit our Coronavirus Visitor Protocols Page for up to date information about requirements relating to the pandemic.
