Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine.

Very hair fine needles are inserted specific locations in the body for therapeutic, preventative and general wellbeing purposes.

Traditional acupuncture is based on the belief that an energy or life force, flows through the body in the channels called meridians. This is known as Qi. If Qi does not flow freely through the body, this can cause illness. Acupuncture restores the flow of Qi, balance and restores health.

The needles help to stimulate body systems such as sensory nerves. This results in the body producing natural substances, such as pain-relieving endorphins. Creating relief from pain.
