Dad & Daughter Team up for Great North Runs
Nine year old Idha Hildreth and her dad Greg will be raising funds for Alice House Hospice
Nine-year-old Idha and her dad Greg, who works as Senior Communications Manager at the Hospice, are taking part in the Junior Great North Run together this September, with Greg also taking part in the adult version of the run.
The pair are raising money together for Alice House. Idha has already taken part in a number of fundraising events, raising £1,400 during lockdown by taking part in the Mile A Day Marathon.
This is Idha’s first organised running event.
“I hope we can raise lots of money for the patients and I can’t wait for the run.”
Idha Hildreth, Age 9
“I am really proud that she wants to help local patients by running the Junior Great North Run and it’s something we’re both looking forward to doing together. We’re enjoying training and would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us so far.”
