Making a will is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your loved ones and ensure your wishes are carried out.
About the event
We’re thrilled to announce the return of Make A Will Month for 2025, and we’re proud to be partnering with five local firms who are generously donating their time and expertise in support of Alice House Hospice.
Throughout October, you can have a simple will written or updated for a reduced fee – £180 for a single will or £300 for a double will – with 100% of the fee donated directly to Alice House Hospice.
A will gives you peace of mind, knowing that your money, property and belongings will be handled according to your wishes, while also helping to care for those you leave behind.
Please note that this offer covers simple, straightforward wills. More complex arrangements may incur additional charges, which will be discussed with your solicitor or will writer.
Whether you’re moving house, getting married, starting a family or just want to get your affairs in order – why not make this October the month you make your will and support your local hospice at the same time?

Step 2 – Contact Alice House Hospice to book your appointment
Please complete the form below and we will pass your details onto the relevant solicitor who will then contact you to arrange a convenient appointment.
Step 3 – Consider your wishes
To maximise the time you have with your solicitor/will writer it would be useful for you to consider your wishes and make a note of your assets and beneficiaries.
While there is no obligation to include a gift in your will to Alice House Hospice, this might be something you would like to consider. Leaving a legacy to Alice House is one of the best ways of making sure Hospice care will be around for our children and our children’s children.
Step 4 – Attend your appointment
Your solicitor will discuss your wishes with you and draft your will. Please complete the donation/gift aid form during your appointment and make the donation to Alice House via your solicitor/will writer.
