Netflix for our Patients Rooms
Following the success of the Smart TV appeal, Hospice staff felt that it would be a great help and comfort to patients and visitors, particularly those in isolation, to have access to Netflix.
The streaming service would help to entertain patients with a wide variety of box sets, movies and documentaries.
Regular supporters Mayfield Insurance saw the benefit of this idea and kindly donated the funds to pay for Netflix subscriptions in all of the patients’ rooms and family areas for 16 months.
Greg Hildreth, Deputy Fundraising Manager said, “We would like to thank Martin Smith and his team at Mayfield for the generous donation which will open up a world of viewing for patients and visitors to Alice House, offering them a great choice of entertainment and hopefully some extra company and engagement.”
