A Hartlepool builders’ merchant has continued its support of their local Hospice by holding a raffle in aid of Alice House.
MKM in Burn Road raised £111 from staff and customers and presented it to Greg Hildreth from Alice House on 27 February.
Alice House Hospice fundraisers are delighted to have been nominated by local business Bridgman IBC as their charity partner.
Bridgman, who manufacture pre-hung doorsets and bespoke doors for UK wide projects, have pledged to take part in a coast to coast bike ride to raise sponsorship for their chosen charity. The challenge will take place from 7-9 June this year and seven members of staff have so far signed up to cycle the 150 miles from Whitehaven to Hartlepool.
This May, two local law firms - Tilly Bailey & Irvine Law and TMJ Legal Services - are supporting Alice House Hospice by offering free appointments to anyone wishing to make a Will.
Throughout May you can make an appointment to write your Will with one of our partner solicitors, who will kindly waive their usual will writing fees in exchange for a donation made to Alice House Hospice.
A Charity night in memory of Helen Gibson has raised a fantastic £665 for Alice House Hospice.
The event, held at The Rovers Quoit Club and organised by Helen’s partner Joanne Kier and Joanne’s mother Margaret Kier, was a great success.
Local runner and Alice House supporter Phil Holbrook, along with Team Sally have started their fundraising campaign for this year’s Great North Run already, beginning with a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day at Café 177 on York Road in Hartlepool.
Phil and his Team run each year in memory of his late wife Sally, who died in a road accident in 2012 which also left Phil battling life threatening injuries.
