Alice House Hospice staff were delighted to officially open two new rooms in their Long Term Care Unit, which were kindly funded by Hospice Patrons Chris and Mary Musgrave, son and wife of the late Joe Musgrave.
Two local youngsters and their dad recently presented Alice House Hospice with a fabulous donation of £272 which they raised in sponsorship after taking part in the Boxing Day Dip.
Kind hearted Tilly Denning, aged 9 along with her sister Harriet, 14 and dad John braved the frosty conditions on 26 December to raise funds for the charity in memory of their much missed Grandad Robert Hunter.
2018 will see the launch of Alice House Hospice’s new Lottery Scratch Cards as a new way for people to play the Hospice Lottery.
Fundraisers at Alice House Hospice are delighted to announce the newest member of their Guild of Patrons, Hartlepool based energy brokers Utility Alliance. The Guild of Patrons is a board of high profile companies, who donate £5,000 a year to support local Hospice care.
Utility Alliance were existing supporters of the charity, having been one of the lead sponsors of Lee Dodgson’s #LEJOGAH campaign in 2017, covering the cost of campervan hire for Lee and his support team over the three weeks it took him to run from Land’s End to John O’Groats, raising £43,000 in the process.
Emma Mussard, a qualified nurse who has always had a passion for teaching and educating within the nursing and caring professions, took on the role of Registered Nurse Clinical Education and Standards Specialist in November 2017.
