Forget my fear of flying!

Craig Rogan saw first-hand the care given by Alice House Hospice to his father-in-law, Derek Winwood, his uncle, Chrissy Rogan and his close friend, Ste Cooper.

This is what inspired him to step well out of his comfort zone, alongside his friend Eddy Hetherington and take on a fundraising skydive challenge for the Hospice.

Craig said before the jump, “I’m going to go and do my fear of life, flying!

I’m jumping out of plane at 15,000 feet to skydive in aid of the Hospice.”

He did and he raised almost £1,200.

“We’ve needed Alice House three times and thankfully they had the capacity to care for our friends and family during those difficult times.”

“I’m privileged to work for Alice House and see daily the care and compassion shown to each and every patient and their families. It’s thanks to fundraisers like Craig, who give up their spare time or take on crazy challenges like this, that we are able to continue doing what we do best.”

Nicola Winwood, Derek’s daughter-in-law
